Meet Celine Esguerra, BA
Licensed Psychometrician
Celine received her bachelor's degree in Psychology from New York University in 2018 as a CAS Scholarship recipient. She grew a passion for the evaluation process during her time as an undergraduate student working as an assistant to a senior neuropsychologist. Celine transitioned to Milestones Psychology in 2019 where she worked and trained as a licensed neuropsychological testing technician. At Milestones, Celine was trained by and worked closely with Dr. Yang on a team for four years. She has extensive experience evaluating students ages 6 - 21 years with a variety of presenting concerns including ADHD, anxiety, social and communication challenges, and learning differences.
Now, Celine proudly serves as a clinical researcher at the Columbia University School of Nursing where she is investigating the impact of asthma on the physical and mental health of underserved youth across New York City public schools. Concurrently, Celine serves as the Director of Mental Health for STEM Educational Institute, a nonprofit organization which provides free programming and college scholarships to underrepresented high school students in areas of coding, financial literacy, and mental health.
Celine is dedicated to supporting the growth and development of school-age children and adolescents. She is excited to rejoin Dr. Yang to supporting and empowering children and families to realizing their potential.
